Not entirely done, I want to add in some more detail behind the figures and the portraits, maybe even the hands as well. I needed to scan it and hand it in today with a paper I wrote on pastiche, postmodernism, and pop culture. Can you spot any references? The title is taken from a Border Crossings article that compare the authenticity of contemporary abstraction to the appropriation prevalent in 70's and early 80's punk and disco. Eventually this will be a large CMYK screen-print, probably something like 20 x 28"
